Cryolipolysis was discovered by american researchers, who found that fat cells are more sensitive for cold than the surrounding tissue. This discovery led to the creation of LipoCryo device, which non-invasively reduces fat.
What does the treatment of cryolipolysis involve?
The basis of the method is to cool fat cells to reduce them. The fat cells under the influence of a constant low temperature (about 3oC) undergo apoptosis (controlled cell death), and the content is then transported by the lymph system and excreted from the body by metabolic processes. For this purpose, a double-controlled low temperature, which causes crystallization of the triglycerides contained in the fat cells without damaging the nervous and muscular tissue.
The result is a loss of 25-45% of the thickness of fat which is visible after 2 weeks, and the full result of the surgery can be observed after about 2 months. After this period, the treatment can be repeated if further treatment is needed. This method is non-invasive and painless. It does not require convalescence and after surgery you can safely return to daily activities.
1. Adipose tissue before a surgery
2. Action of LipoCryo – vaccum suction of fat inside the head and cooling to 3°C.
3.Couple of days after a surgery – induction of inflammation
4. After about 45 days there is a reduction of subcutaneous adipose tissue
After 5 days
Beginning of inflammation. In the first week after a surgery, the fat cells begin a process of gradual reduction in size.
After 15 days
Maximum inflammation occurs about 15 days after treatment, when the fat cells are surrounded by histiocytes, lymphocytes, and other mononuclear cells. Fat cells have already begun the process of gradual reduction.
After 30 days
OFrom 15 to 30 days after a treatment, inflammation subsides, and there is a process of
phagocytosis: gradually fat cells are absorbed and eliminated from the body.
Which parts of the body undergo treatments on the device LipoCryo®?
The most common procedures are performed on the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, back, hips, arms, or places, which usually want to get rid of excess body fat.
What results can be expected after a surgery?
Depending on the initial thickness of adipose tissue, the average loss of body fat is from 3 to 15 mm. This corresponds to 25-45% loss of body fat.
|The thickness of body fat||The loss during the first treatment||The loss during two treatments (90 days)||The loss during three treatments (135 days)|
|15 dni||45 dni|
*All results are average and can vary individually.
